Duplex 'Zipcord' - DFC (Double Fibre Cable)~

The cable is a ruggedised two-fibre design with individual Single Fibre Cable (SFC) elements joined together by a web.

Each SFC contains a fibre with Tetracoat® protection (tight buffering), a layer of non-metallic aramid strength members and a flame retardant LSOH® sheath.

The web can be easily separated for connectorisation and a rib is provided along one unit for identification. Ideal for patch cords and also for horizontal, vertical or equipment interconnect wiring.

Features and Benefits

Easy removal of outer coating of fibres due to Pirelli's patented Tetracoat® process. Each fibre protected for direct connection to terminal equipment. Compatible with all industry standard connectors (Single or Dual - Fibre). LSOH® is attractive where the generation of smoke or toxic emission is potentially hazardous to people or equipment. • All rices is per metre.
• A minimum order length of 50m applies to all cables.
• An asterisk( * ) next to the product code means that this item is excluded from our next day delivery services, and will normally be delivered within 2 - 5 Days.
• 50/125µm and 60/125µm Sheath colour is normally Orange, 9/125µm Sheath colour is normally Yellow.
• External sheath colour is normally black. (Other sheath colours available to order).
• For order in excess of 2000m, please check availability first.
• Once cut, the fibre is not returnable and non-refundable.

Delivery on custom length of fibre is generally Next Day on orders received before 2pm subject to availability.~~~99045~99057~~
