VFL~

The VFL is a pocket sized Fibre Optic Cable tester and visual fault locator, which sends a visible red laser down the fibre core. The laser operates at 635nm and is suitable for the verification of Multimode and Single mode fibre optic systems.

VFL can also be used to visually identify faulty splices; breaks in patchcords and breaks in cable within splice trays. Faults are clearly shown by a visible red light shining through the primary coating or sheath of the fibre under test. Details & Datasheet . . . . . .~~~76568~94198~~

Visual Fault Locater

VFL supports 2 active modes, CW (Continuous Wave) and Pulse. Using a 635nm laser diode, this Class IIa visible safe laser injects almost twice the amount of optical power than traditional 670nm devices.

This offers greater test distance and easier identification of cable impairments and the 2.5mm ferrule will accept any of today's standard ferrules.

Fibre Checker Pro with 1.25mm to 2.5mm Adaptor

~The FC-2005 Fiber Checker Pro is used for checking the defects of afibre cable.

It sends a visible 650nm wavelength red laser light though the fibreoptic cable, any breaks or faults in the fibre will refract the light,creating a bright glow around the faulty area.

The universal connector can be used for all the most common fibreinterfaces such as ST/ SC/ FC /FDDA. It is suitable to test both singlemode and multi mode cables. Visibility is up to 3 kilometers.

The output signal can be switched between continuous or Pulsemode to get different visual effects.
