Alerting Yourself when Changes Occur

The combination of a built-in human detection sensor that responds to heat and a motion detection function that responds to a preset camera threshold or sensitivity detects even slight motions. Captured images can also be stored temporarily in the camera*1 or sent to you by e-mail*2 or FTP data transfer*3.

*1 A maximum of approximately 250 images (320 x 240 pixels) can be stored in thecamera.
*2 PDP before SMTP authentication and SMTP authentication (PLAIN LOGIN and CRAM-MD5) are supported.

PN-WVNP244~The WV-NP244 network camera that is both MPEG-4 and JPEG dual stream compatible.MPEG-4 makes viewing video smooth and seamless, and is multicast/unicast switchable to fit your application. When using JPEG, 640 x 480 (VGA) images can be transmitted atup to 30 fps. Plus, with progressive scan in both MPEG-4 andJPEG modes, images of moving subjects are captured in highfidelity. With the optional F1.2 lens, these cameras operate inlighting as low as 1.1 lux (0.11 fc). In addition electronicsensitivity can be increased up to 16 times, while a 3x digitalzoom allows you to view subjects’ up-close. A built-inhigh sensitivity microphone with on/off functionalityprovides clear audio capabilities.

The WV-NP244 is equipped with PoE (Power overEthernet) IEEE802.3af, allowing power and signals to betransmitted over the same cable, thus eliminating the need toinstall a separate power source for each camera.

~The WV-NP244 network camera that is both MPEG-4 and JPEG dual stream compatible.

MPEG-4 makes viewing video smooth and seamless, and is multicast/unicast switchable to fit your application. When using JPEG, 640 x 480 (VGA) images can be transmitted at up to 30 fps. Plus, with progressive scan in both MPEG-4 and JPEG modes, images of moving subjects are captured in highfidelity. With the optional F1.2 lens, these cameras operate in lighting as low as 1.1 lux (0.11 fc). In addition electronic sensitivity can be increased up to 16 times, while a 3x digital zoom allows you to view subjects’ up-close.

A built-in high sensitivity microphone with on/off functionalityprovides clear audio capabilities.

The WV-NP244 is equipped with PoE (Power over Ethernet) IEEE802.3af, allowing power and signals to betransmitted over the same cable, thus eliminating the need to install a separate power source for each camera. This feature makes installation as simple as plugging the cable into the HUB. Using the multi screen display mode, up to 8 cameras can be monitored from a single browser.

The digital motion detector feature transmits an alarm signal when moving subjects enter the scene. When combined with the optional Network Disk Recorder; WJ-ND300, these cameras make it incredibly easy to construct an automatic video surveillance system. Plus, the SD memory card slot allows you to back up images on an SD memory card in case of network failure.

~The new Panasonic WV-NF284 is a compact stylish network colour dome camera with MPEG-4 and JPEG dual streaming. It is the latest addition to the i-pro Series line-up and provides Panasonic with a Dual Streaming, Power over Ethernet, 3.6 Variable-Focal Lens camera unit.

This camera can transmit VGA (640 x 480) images at up to 30 fps, or use both to combine the seamless video monitoring of MPEG-4 with high resolution JPEG recording. The 1/4 btype progressive scan CCD captures moving subjects with minimal blurring, and multicast (MPEG-4 only) is also supported.

Additional features include the 3.6x variable-focal lens (2.8 b 10mm) that operates in light as low as 1.5 lux (0.15 fc). Also, IEEEE8.02.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) supplies power and transmits images over the same LAN cable simplifying installation.

For optimum surveillance, a high sensitivity microphone is built-in to the camera unit as well as a motion detector alarm to activate recording. When the camera is connected to the optional i-pro Series Network Disk Recorder, images are backed up onto the optional SD memory card in the event of any network failure. The recorded information will then be transmitted automatically to the recorder when the network is restored, providing peace of mind that recorded data is continuously protected.

Other features the unit has include a built in alarm function for external security devices, activating and informing when any specific motion is detected; automatic electronic zoom function, the camera will zoom and focus on objects automatically; automatic electronic sensitivity enhancement, when the image is unclear or obstructed; and a 3-dimentional hinge (Pan, Tilt and Azimuth) that makes movement adjustments easy.

High network performance, highly reliable surveillance features, and simple set-up make the WV-NF284 ideal for all sorts of applications large or small, and is the perfect addition to Panasonic's award winning System Solutions divisionbs i-pro range.
